A Note on Certification begins a conversation taking a critical look at what it means to teach and certify teachers. Among many excellent observations, it notes that there are no community standards for teacher trainings, and it is entirely the burden of the student to evaluate and judge the skill and teaching ability of one's teachers. As a business with no regulation or accreditation, it is buyer-beware. The discussion on Facebook is worth reading.
